Words are windows into the mind. This course explores how linguistic patterns reveal thought structures, emotional charge, and hidden intentions. You’ll discover how people’s language encodes their internal reality — and how subtle changes in your own phrasing can shape understanding, rapport, and influence.
Building on models from NLP, cognitive linguistics, and behavioral interviewing, you’ll learn to design questions that go beyond surface answers and reach the structure of experience. You’ll practice distinguishing truth from rehearsed narratives, detecting cognitive dissonance, and redirecting conversations with clarity and ethics.
Therapists, interviewers, coaches, investigators, and communication professionals.
Successful participants receive the Advanced Linguistics Interviewing Certificate (B.A.L.I. Level 3).
